Pat Cain featured in episode 2 - Abstract Autobiography
My heart is overflowing. What started off as a passion project blended with a way to help set one of my client’s apart from their competition (The Fusion at Parkville Frame Gallery) is developing into something with real legs. I have found that there is an audience waiting for this kind of film series. The response has been overwhelming to me. After only one month and two videos, the YouTube channel has over 1,000 subscribers and artists from all over the world are commenting and connecting.
Personally, I have been so encouraged, inspired, and shaped by these women and this experience.

it is the culmination of years of circumstance, skill building, and love for creativity.
So many little moments or skills that were scattered throughout the past 15 years have come together in one pretty perfectly aligned project.
For example, I have a room in my home that I designed with original art - some of which belongs to my kids from their art classes at school.
I am obsessed with real-life storytelling. My favorite books to read are biographies. I’ve been informally interviewing women for years. (They’ve probably been wondering why I’ve never done anything with it.)
My favorite film to watch is documentary - especially biographical.
I have been a photographer for over 15 years. I see film like photography in motion.
Film was never an ambition of mine. It is just the perfect blend of photography and story.
I intend to continue this journey as long as I can. It’s been a long time since I had a real vision and passion for something.
