Website Redesign, Brand Photography & Video
My work with CONA Wealth began with a complete rebuild of their website. The previous site was dated and overloaded with too much information competing for a visitor's attention. Rebuilding it meant more than a visual refresh; it meant deciding what actually needed to be said, and saying it clearly.
That rebuild opened the door to a broader look at CONA Wealth's digital presence as a whole. New portraits of the team gave the website faces that matched the trust the firm asks clients to place in them. The project expanded to include video testimonials from CONA Wealth clients, sharing their experience in their own words.
That piece of the work turned out to be far more complex than it first appeared. Financial institutions operate under strict regulatory rules governing what client information can be shared and what can be said about how a firm's services have affected a client's life. Producing an authentic, compliant testimonial video meant working closely with CONA Wealth's compliance team from the start — not as an obstacle to route around, but as a genuine partner in figuring out what was possible. That took several rounds of conversation and revision, refining language and approach until the videos met both the standard of authenticity the project needed and the regulatory standard the industry requires.
What came out of that process was worth the effort. CONA Wealth is now positioned to produce more client testimonial videos going forward, with a compliant process already worked out rather than something to solve from scratch each time. It's the kind of groundwork that may extend beyond CONA Wealth itself — a workable model for how financial advisors nationwide could let their clients speak for them, in an industry where that's historically been difficult to do well.
As with the rest of my client relationships, the work itself was built on trust and respect. In this case, extending that trust to a compliance team as a collaborator rather than a checkpoint. That's often where the more interesting, more durable outcomes come from: not avoiding the constraints a business operates under, but working inside them carefully enough to find what's actually possible.
